Scope and Application

This notice describes what LegitInvestHub does with your information when you visit legitinvesthub.com. It covers every article, warning and company profile published on the site, the archive and search pages, the contact form, and any correspondence you send to contact@legitinvesthub.com or receive from that address. It also covers the technical records our servers keep about the requests your browser makes, since those records can sometimes be linked back to an individual and so count as personal information in most of the places our visitors live.

There are things this notice does not reach, and the boundary matters. It does not apply to any other website you arrive at by following a link from legitinvesthub.com, including regulator registers, news archives, court databases and the marketing pages of the operators we write about; those sites keep their own records under their own terms. It does not apply to the independent legal advisers and law firms mentioned on the site, who are separate practices and who become responsible for your information in their own right the moment you contact them. Nor does it apply to advertising networks whose own notices govern the identifiers they set. Reading an article creates no relationship between you and LegitInvestHub beyond the ordinary one between a publisher and a reader.

Information Gathered While Visitors Read

Every web server records the requests it receives and ours is no exception. When a page loads, our hosting and security layer writes a log entry containing the internet protocol address, the date and time, the page requested, the referring page if there was one, and the string your browser sends about itself. Those entries let us diagnose faults, see when the site is under attack and block abusive traffic. They are kept for roughly ninety days and then discarded. We do not use them to work out who any individual visitor is.

Beyond raw logs, we measure readership in the aggregate. Analytics technology records which articles are opened, roughly how long a page stays open, how far visitors scroll and the approximate city a request came from, inferred from the network address rather than from satellite positioning. That measurement tells us which warnings people find useful. Where the law requires consent before anything is stored on your device, it is held back until you give consent through the cookie control, and it stops if you withdraw it. Some pages carry advertising, and partners may set their own identifiers subject to the same consent. LegitInvestHub does not sell your information, does not profile readers for marketing and does not try to follow individual visitors around the internet.

Information Visitors Provide Deliberately

The other half of the picture is what you choose to hand over. The contact form asks for a name or alias, an email address, an optional telephone number and a description of your situation. Some visitors attach material as well: screenshots of a trading dashboard, exported chat threads, copies of the promotional pages that persuaded them in the first place. All of it is voluntary. Please do not send passwords, full payment card numbers, wallet seed phrases or scanned identity documents, because none of that is needed for us to understand what happened and none of it belongs in an ordinary web form.

Messages arrive in an inbox controlled by a small editorial team and are also written to a database on our hosting infrastructure. We use them to answer you, to decide whether the matter is one we should investigate, and to keep a record so a later message can be read in context. Enquiry correspondence is ordinarily kept for two years from the last exchange and then deleted, though a shorter period applies if you ask. Where a message leads to an article, we publish nothing that identifies a correspondent without explicit agreement. Writing to contact@legitinvesthub.com directly makes no difference to any of this.

When an Enquiry Reaches an Independent Legal Adviser

Some of what visitors describe goes beyond what a publication can usefully help with and belongs instead with a qualified lawyer or a regulated legal adviser who can assist with reports to financial regulators, police cybercrime units and other authorities. When we think that is the case, we say so in our reply and ask a direct question: would you like your enquiry passed to an adviser who works in this field. Nothing moves until you answer yes, and sending a general enquiry through the form is not agreement.

If you do agree, we send a summary rather than a file. It contains your name, the contact details you gave us, and an outline of the circumstances you described, enough for the adviser to decide whether the matter is one they can take on. Attachments are not forwarded unless you ask. Once the summary is sent, that practice holds your information as an independent controller under its own privacy terms, and what follows is a matter between the two of you. LegitInvestHub does not supervise their work and does not receive their files.

Where Your Information Is Held, How It Is Protected and When It Crosses Borders

The site and its database sit on managed hosting infrastructure. Depending on the arrangement in force during 2026, the primary servers are in data centres in the European Union or the United States, with a content delivery and security network operating edge nodes in many other countries so pages load quickly wherever visitors are. Those nodes cache articles and inspect incoming requests for attack patterns, which means request metadata, including network addresses, is processed in whichever country the nearest node sits. Email is held by a commercial mail provider with servers in the United States, and encrypted database backups are stored with a separate provider in a different location from the live system.

That geography means your information will often cross an international border, and we treat the safeguards for those crossings seriously rather than as a formality. Where information leaves the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom for a country not recognised as offering adequate protection, we rely on the European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses, supplemented for United Kingdom transfers by the International Data Transfer Addendum, and each provider must accept those clauses in writing before anything is sent. We assess destinations for the risk that local public authorities could compel access, and where that risk is meaningful we reduce what is sent rather than rely on paperwork alone. Visitors may write to contact@legitinvesthub.com and ask which safeguard covers a particular provider.

The protective measures themselves are ordinary but applied consistently. All traffic to and from legitinvesthub.com runs over encrypted connections with modern cipher suites and strict transport security, and backups are encrypted at rest with keys held separately from the data. Administrative access to the publishing system and to the enquiry database requires unique credentials and a second authentication factor and is granted only to the few people who need it; that list is reviewed periodically and access is withdrawn on the day someone stops working with us. Software is patched on a regular cycle, the security layer filters common attack traffic, and administrative actions are logged. No arrangement of this kind is perfect, but if a breach occurred that was likely to put your rights at risk we would tell the affected visitors and the relevant authority without undue delay.

Your Rights, Changes to This Notice and How to Reach Us

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to be told what LegitInvestHub holds about you and to receive a copy, to have inaccurate information corrected, to have information deleted where there is no continuing reason to keep it, to restrict or object to certain processing, to receive what you gave us in a portable format, and to withdraw a consent without that affecting anything done beforehand. Residents of California and several other United States jurisdictions may also ask what categories of information have been disclosed, opt out of any sale or sharing, and expect no different treatment for exercising a right; we honour the Global Privacy Control signal.

To use any of these rights, write to contact@legitinvesthub.com and describe what you want, including enough detail for us to find your record, which usually means the address you originally wrote from. We do not charge and we reply within one month, extending only where a request is genuinely complex. We may ask a question or two to satisfy ourselves that a request comes from the person it concerns, since handing information to the wrong party would be the worse failure. If you are unhappy with how a request was handled you may complain to the supervisory authority where you live or work, which in the United Kingdom is the Information Commissioner’s Office.

We update this notice when our providers, our practices or the law change. The text published on this page during 2026 is the version in force and carries the date of its most recent revision; significant changes are flagged on the site rather than made quietly. Continuing to use legitinvesthub.com after a revision means you accept it. Anything about this notice, about what we hold, or about an article that concerns you should go to contact@legitinvesthub.com, where a person rather than an automated system will read it.
